Make time to do what you LOVE to do!

OK, its been a month since my last post. That will never do. I can do this. God knows I sit at this computer enough. But maybe thats the problem You see, the computer is no where NEAR where I sew. I'm lucky enough to have a dedicated sewing room. Actually, I'm converting the entire basement to a studio to work in. But the closest I get to sewing is counting pieces of vintage patterns to make sure that they are complete before I list them on my ebay site. I opened a store there to make better use of my time. But now I spend my time stocking it. I've collected vintage sewing, knitting and crochet patterns for years, ok, decades, now. I have enough so selling some will not leave me wanting for patterns. Be sure to check it out if you can, but that's not what I'm writting about. How do you all find time or make time to live a busy life and manage to make time to treat yourself to what you really want to do? Maybe it's a matter of organization. I'm not organized. One article I read once said that messy people are often organized but not in a traditional way. I'm a stacker. Yes, I probably could find just what you are looking for in a stack of what-have-you. Usually. I'm still looking for the bathroom window curtain fabric in a stack in my sewing room. Anyway, maybe it's because I try to do too much. I have projects in many stages of completion. I do finish them. Usually, eventually. Anyway, I'm overwhelmed with what I have to do, need to do and want to do. If I find a solution I'll let you know what it is. In the mean time, here is one of my patterns I want to make. Soon. I like the short version shown in the upper left. If I get enough work done around the office this afternoon, I'll find a piece of fabric from my collection and cut it out tonight. Well, have a wonderful day.
